We found a hotel near the central train station offering easy access to the post office and local restaurants, with a beautifully decorated lobby and a clean traditional room. The bathroom included complimentary toiletries and the hotel provides a hot spring for a small extra fee.
The service was lacking, with slow responses to requests and neglect of important guest needs, such as keeping a room warm for a sick guest.
